Beautiful 1950's Cinzano tin bar/restaurant/bistro Tray

French advertising serving tray for Cinzano, the Italian vermouth and sparkling wine brand. Lithographed tinplate bar/café tray featuring the classic red-and-blue Cinzano logo.

The tray shows signs of wear (see pics) and the paint around the 'Z' is faded.

The bold red-and-blue diagonal split is Cinzano's branding style introduced in the mid-20th century.
This typography and simple graphic design are characteristic of post-war European commercial advertising.

Lithographed metal (tinplate) with a rolled edge, a common format for café, bar, and bistro advertising trays used from the mid 1950's onwards.
The cream-colored border and rounded rectangular shape are also typical of French and European promotional trays
